ISO 9001 for a Maritime Employee Council Company in Portsmouth

It was a new experience working with IMEC (International Maritime Employers Council) as I have not worked in the Maritime industry before. IMEC made it very easy for me to incorporate ISO 9001 into their business as they had a good understanding of the standard due to attending courses set out by the certification body. What they do as a business (the only international employers’ organisation dedicated to maritime industrial relations) was interesting also how they re-invest back into the industry through funding future training needs, but this is only a segment of what they do. From start to finish of the project, IMEC where constantly incorporating the Quality Management System into their business and it was no surprise that they achieved certified status with ease and well deserved. I look forward to working with them in the future.
