Starting out & laying the foundations

At AvISO we work with only UKAS accredited certification bodies to ensure you get the absolute best from your investment.

  • Initial meetings and discussion will help us to understand your business and the real driving forcesbehind certification
  • AvISO will provide you with a copy of the relevant standard, a detailed project plan and a clear time frame for deliverables and associated costs
  • Perform a gap analysis against ISO 9001 and agree a plan of action that meets the requirements of the standard, and just as importantly, meets your needs
  • Investigate opportunities to integrate the requirements of the standard with existing controls and process as well as with other standards if they are in place. This can save time and money
  • With your business at the heart of every decision, we will address each of the standards requirements to ensure the most beneficial course of action
  • AvISO will assist you to integrate tasks with existing operations to provide the most helpful andstraight forward solutions

Initial Review

The ethos is always to develop a system that meets your needs first, whilst still complying with the standard. We have shown that a management system tailored to your individual goals and objectives can be more than just a certificate and will bring about truly positive improvements for your company.

  • Known as Stage 1, an external review is required from a UKAS accredited body. This ensures your system is fit for purpose and up to the job
  • AvISO will help you manage and prepare for the assessment day and, if you wish, be there to offer support and guidance on the day

Testing the System

  • Before certification the system must be fully audited. This allows bugs to be addressed and improvements made
  • AvISO can be on hand to carry out audits on your behalf, provide internal training and offer guidance on potential improvements

Certification

This process ensures we are always pushing ourselves to be the very best we can.

  • Known as Stage 2, at this point you are ready for assessment and a UKAS accredited body will carry out a full audit. When this is done you will be fully certified to your chosen ISO standard
  • Certification is maintained for three years through a process of surveillance audits by the accredited
    certification body
  • AvISO has a 100% track record of successful certification
