AvISO has been lucky enough to work with Ambiental previously, supporting the development and improvement of Health and Safety documentation. For this project, AvISO was asked to assist in the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015
The first steps of this project were to review Ambiental’s current Quality Management System (QMS) and advise on any developmental requirements to meet the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The review of the existing system highlighted several gaps between the existing QMS and the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. Based on this AvISO supported Ambiental in implementing new and enhanced controls. Finally, we carried out a full audit of the system. The purpose of this is to prove to the third-party auditor that all clauses of ISO 9001:2015 are being addressed.
This project was led by AvISO consultant Ana Inacio. We asked Ana for her thoughts on the project;
“Ambiental needed to quickly transform their ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System in order to conform to the 2015 version of the standard. AvISO utilised as much as possible the existing documents and added all the necessary elements that enabled the company to be compliant and to make effective use of the more strategic elements of the new version of the standard. Ambiental had already worked with AvISO in other occasions and again demonstrated their commitment to the project and great teamwork spirit.”
Following an external audit, we are delighted to say that Ambiental has now been accredited with ISO 9001:2015.
