AvISO recently collaborated on a project with our friends over at Assent, looking into non-conformities and seeing if any trends were appearing.
What was identified was that although the basis of the Standards does not change, the approach by the certification bodies does.
At AvISO, we log and monitor all non-conformities and OFI's from the certification bodies that have been raised in our client audits. We do this because the data we can pull from these highlights areas where there are trends and influxes in issues raised against specific clauses.
Our Top Tip – Don’t be alarmed if you get an OFI and take this as it’s literal meaning, an Opportunity for Improving your management system.
