"We have just had our first year of health and safety audits across all six of our sites with Aviso as part of a three-year contract. From the moment we started working with the Aviso team they have been easy to deal with and very accommodating of our multiple requests for changes of dates and venues! We also made it clear that we would like to be audited to ISO45001 standard, but we were not intending to apply for the accreditation – this was not a problem for the team, and they have met and exceeded our requirements.

Our auditor Miles was very approachable and all of our colleagues who spoke with him during the audit found him to be clear and concise when explaining what his aims were. He has happily taken feedback on the reports and made any changes that we requested for any corrections. We have already had very helpful discussions with Miles about the approach to next year’s audits and we are all looking forward to working with Aviso over the next couple of years."

As the lead consultant and auditor for the Science Museum Group's health and safety audits, I had the privilege of engaging with a prominent organisation known for its impact in science, medicine, and technology. My responsibility involved coordinating with Science Museum Group to arrange the audits across six sites, which were carried out without any major disruption to the schedule. Through the audits we were able to assess the Science Museum Group’s commitment and compliance with the ISO 45001 standard, even though the group was not pursuing formal accreditation. I valued the direct communication and insightful feedback from staff at all levels, which allowed us to conduct detailed and in-depth audits, further fine-tune our reports and adapt our methods to better meet the group’s specific requirements. The encouraging feedback underscored my straightforward and accessible way of communicating the purposes of our audits, setting a positive foundation for our continued collaboration aimed at enhancing their health and safety protocols.
